Finding inspiration

I finally figured out how to use the macro on my camera. I think so, at least. It could have been an accident. Really. There’s so many buttons on this thing, you’d swear it’s more video game controller than an actual camera. The instruction manual makes the mind spin.

This is one of my blooming pretties.

The closer I look at it, the more it has to become a veil.

Nobody does colour like Mother Nature. I’m going to be laying in the flower beds at the Tulip Festival, trying out my newfound macro skills.

Glennis … I totally love your shots of shibori hills and valley, the close-up twinkle of a fine silk gauze … yum!

Indeed … an orchid. The flower proceeded to fall off almost immediately after I took the picture. I’m thinking I shocked it with the flash!

No doubt : I am SURE I would love Hawaii!
